Primary 1  invited Margo to come in and show them how to cross the road safely when walking home from school. They all listened well and remembered the safe rules for crossing the road. Margo then rewarded them all with a sticker congratulating them on becoming the school's JRSO's.

They have now decided to design and make posters to put up around the school to raise awareness of road safety. These include: Be Seen, Look and Listen, Look Both Ways and Stop. 

Primary 1 have been working on Numbers to 10 and Addition to 10 in Numeracy this term. They have had lots of fun, playing Bingo, Daily 10 Challenges, Active Learning Activities and lots of interactive games on our class i-Pads. The children have been working with2-D shapes and have had a great time creating pictures using the shapes.

Next term, we will will be moving on to Subtraction within 10 and also Money.
The children are  enjoying learning their new phonemes each week. They have been very enthusiastic learning the songs and listening to the stories that go along with the phonemes. They are also learning to say the numbers 1-10, classroom objects and greetings in Spanish.The children are  sounding very authentic!
